Hi!

My name is Helena Tom. I’m an editor, filmmaker, and creative. I live in Riverside, CA, and hold a bachelor's degree in film, television, and media from San Diego State University. As I studied, I’ve developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling, media production, and content development. I have experience with documentary making, narrative filmmaking, and editing on multiple programs. Some of my films have made it into the Emerging Film festival at SDSU, and I’ve dabbled in the education route thanks to UCR ARTS, Off the Block.

As I continue my professional journey, I have goals of working in the media industry as well as education. As a child, the arts were an outlet for me. I instantly knew this was something I wanted to pursue. I’d love to further my experiences and knowledge while also creating a safe space for others to grow.
